Tonight a neighborhood from another novel entered this novel.

I’m quite pleased. I feel like I’m returning to a place I love, and introducing new characters into the already fecund matrix.

Although I’m coughing far too much, none of my characters have a cough. This, I think, is auspicious.

I’m starting to write late today. My voice returned enough that I could speak while I taught my classes. It has been novel to explore mime and drumming to communicate a change of pose. 

I want to stay connected to how powerful my protagonist’s voice was when my voice vanished.

My protagonist kept whispering to me, today, in between child’s pose and half moon pose. When my voice disappeared, Narina’s voice was not a whisper.  

I’m still not sure what name works best for my Neptune Detective.  Both Daria and Narina have a Neptunian feeling to them.  Perhaps tonight, when I write, I will type one name more than the other.  We shall see.

I am posting a link to a story I wrote because Terrific originally meaning terrifying seems very important tonight.
