You know, I could use a little more of that hermit energy myself right now. But that is so not what this November looks like!

You seem to be steaming right along. I am hanging in there, but just barely. Counting on my days off to catch up, but those seem to be getting pretty full too…

Hi Laurel–

Just finally got a chance to check in here. Glad your last post speaks of the pleasure of the writing. You seem to have really kept the pace. I am trailing a bit, but it’s basically that life is just to full of extraneous activities that I can’t seem to extricate myself from! So I shall keep plugging away and hope that I can catch up at some point.

Why is it that “descent” sounds like it leads to something to be slightly wary of, whereas “ascent” is usually associated with something wonderful…ascent into Heaven….ascent to a higher plain…and on to “in the ascendency” etc etc?

I’m game for nano this year, but am totally unsure whether I’m going with what I thought was the plan or something new that’s cropped up.

I noticed there’s both a Forward Motion group and a Muse group. Haven’t signed into either yet, but I’m just getting started on the Nano forums.
